Strategic Procurement
The MAF is established to procure civil and mechanical construction works and services contained within the Cadent regulatory business plan and will be used primarily by the Operate & Maintain (O&M) teams who are responsible for operating and maintaining the Local Transmission System (LTS).
In addition to the O&M teams, the MAF will also be open to all other parts of Cadent to utilise, such as the Capital Delivery and the Customer Operations teams who are expected to use the Framework from time to time.
About the Project
The MAF is broken down into four Lots;
• Lot 1 will be used to procure small-scale multi-disciplined projects and can extend to include more complex or substantially sized programmes of works from activities included in Lots 2, 3, and 4.
• Lot 2 will be used to procure Civil Construction related projects.
• Lot 3 will be used to procure Mechanical Construction related projects.
• Lot 4 will be Cathodic Protection projects.
